Welcome to my poetry section.

I don’t consider myself a serious or dedicated poet, but I know people have enjoyed the fun and nostalgia in these poems and the general look back at ‘the way we were’.

As I’m unlikely to put them together in book form, I thought I would share them with you on my website.

The poems are inspired by my early days as a young girl growing up in Lanarkshire in Scotland in the 1960's. My memories are mainly light and happy and the poems reflect the way I saw things at that particular period in my life.
